Welcome to Great Lakes Sustainable Harvest! A beyond organic, sustainable, heirloom farm in Oxford Michigan. This means my methods go way above and beyond the standards of the USDA grade Organic system. I cater to the land and all animals and in return it provides me with what I need. Here you will find articles on natural farming practices where you can learn and discuss different regenerative and sustainable methods of farming as well as ask questions. Truely organic, where nearly all inputs come directly from the property. I make my own compost and use the native herbs and plants to feed the soil and crops. Irrigation is supplied by a small spring fed creek that runs through the property. Check out some of my delicious plant based recipes in the recipes tab and try your hand in the kitchen.
You will also find information on the CSA shares I offer, which can give you the opportunity to receive a fresh box of my produce each week if you are local to the area. Throughout the season, you can find available seasonal items here like dry herbs, sauces, tinctures, peppers, seeds, and more. All beyond organic and heirloom right from my farm!
