85 days. Productive vines produce long 15-25 lb dense melons with disease resistance. Strawberry red flesh, few seeds, outstanding flavor, and a delicate fine grained texture. Sweet all the way to the thin rind, Not great for shipping. Developed and selected from a giant Florida heirloom by Walt Childs of Seed savers exchange in 1989. Performs well in the north, we usually have ripe strawberry watermelons by September, sometimes even the final week of August.
