- 100 days. 10-20 lb squash with a point in the end. Beautiful blue grey color is almost silver looking in the sun. The bright flesh is dry and dense with a rich sweet flavor. Holds well in soups and stews. One of our favorites for curry. Excellent choice for cooler areas very adaptable and tolerant. Great storage quality. As the name states, this variety originates in Oregon and has been growing for possibly over 100 years. Introduced by Gill Brothers in the 1940s.
